Identity checks for investors
Property sourcing is estate agency work. Before we share full deal details, the Money Laundering Regulations 2017 require us to verify your identity. We collect identity documents only at that stage, and we keep them because the law requires it.
Who we share it with
We use these service providers to run the website and our email. They act on our instructions.
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France, in the EU): contact lists and emails.
- Vercel Inc. (USA): hosts the website and processes form submissions.
- Cloudflare Inc. (USA): the spam check on our forms.
- Microsoft (Microsoft 365): our business email.
- Google (Google Calendar): if you book a call through our booking link.
Where a provider handles data outside the UK, the transfer is covered by the UK's approved safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK-US data bridge.
We introduce a property to an investor, or an investor to a seller, only with the agreement of the person concerned. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and leads that do not go further: 24 months, then deleted.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Client records and identity checks: 5 years after our business relationship ends, as the Money Laundering Regulations require.
Your rights
You can ask us to: see the data we hold about you; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to how we use it; or move it to another provider. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, for example with the unsubscribe link in every email. Email slawal@aynikproperties.co.uk and we will reply within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we use your data, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
